BLOK

I started my knife-making journey by meeting Ben from Blok in Derby. After a bit of banter and me promising to be on tea duty at all times, Ben agreed that I could spend some time learning from them. And that’s where my fate was sealed. I knew I wanted to make knives for a living. I have Ben and the team to thank for helping me discover my dream job.

KWB

I currently share a workspace at the KWB forge here in Kent. It’s thanks to the engineering mastermind and forging wizard (aka Korben - the man behind KWB) that I’m able to do this now as a profession. I still help Korben with certain things and am constantly learning from him daily. We have a lot of fun and are looking forward to branching out with future collaborations and mechanical builds.

KITCHEN TABLE

I’ve known James Knappett for a while now. Our friendship started with me creating all the artwork for his two Michelin restaurant - Kitchen Table. After that I made their guest knives, in collaboration with KWB. We worked with James from sketching out the prototype, through to final design and delivery. Eat at Kitchen Table and you’ll get to try out those one-of-a-kind knives with your meal.

PEAK PICS

I’ve got Dan from Peak Pics to thank for my logo animation you see on the homepage. If you’ve got an event you want filming, or an idea for a photo shoot, Dan is your man. He’s worked with England Rugby, Pub in the Park, and whole load more names he could drop.

OLIVER’S

We’re currently working with the master butcher Oliver Horrocks to create a new steak knife that can also be used as a paring knife. Double trouble.

If you’re ever in Devon be sure to swing by and check them out!
